The Gorssel Open Air Theater is located in the middle of the beautiful village of Gorssel, on the corner of Esdoornlaan and Molenweg. It reopened in May 2013 after a major renovation of a derelict mid-century open-air theater. The park in which the theater is located is publicly accessible. Via the three different entrances you can walk through it, have a chat with others on one of the many benches, have a picnic. About six performances are held annually. Locally and regionally known choirs, orchestras, music societies, artists, bands, dance groups and theater companies perform in an atmospheric environment. For young and old. There are about 80 seats at the stage and 20 on benches in the theater park. During performances, people can bring their own seat or simply sit or stand on the grass, so there is room for a total of nearly 500 spectators.
