Do you guide Moos while swimming?
Moos had a volunteer who went swimming with him every week. She became ill and now Moos is looking for someone who wants to guide him through swimming (to the swimming pool in Bussum or Hilversum, he doesn't care). Bringing would be nice, but he can also come by himself with the WMO taxi). Moos is a sweet man of 57 years from Hilversum who has an autistic disorder. For him regularity and clarity in his program is therefore important. That is why a fixed appointment on a fixed day is important to him (day and time in consultation). Moos can talk a little and listen well. He is also good at non-verbal communication, but he is also stubborn and noisy at times. Moos is crazy about height (he has a tree house) and water. There is nothing wrong with him on the motor, so he feels wonderfully free in the water.
Working hours: In consultation
Special Conditions: A volunteer with an affinity with people with a disability. Someone who can offer the peace and regularity that Moos needs.
Training method and guidance: Volunteers are indispensable. We realize that very well. That is why Sherpa in turn wants to take good care of the volunteer. There will be an introduction where you can see if this volunteer vacancy suits you. If you decide to assist us with this, you work together with an enthusiastic team of supervisors and you will receive personal support.
Sherpa is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers. How often you meet depends on you. Some like to go to the local market together every week, others agree on a monthly basis. The employees of the Social Deployment Office listen to your wishes, hobbies and interests and put them next to the questions of the clients. That way we always look for the perfect match!
