Taalmaatje Video calling
Taalmaatje video calling
Doing an errand together at the super. Have a nice chat at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee or during a walk. These are all nice ways to better master the Dutch language. Unfortunately, that is not possible in this time of corona. But, of course that does not mean that you cannot chat together! That is also possible digitally! Because, even in this way someone who does not have a good command of the Dutch language can learn to speak Dutch better. And, you can still drink coffee together ;-).
And do you know what is so nice? As a Taalmaatje you can learn a lot too! You learn a lot about each other's culture, family and hobbies through the conversations you have. So, do you have half an hour a week? Then Taalmaatje video calling might be something for you?
What do you need for Taalmaatje Beeld Calling?
It is important that you have some digital skills. For example, you can easily find your way on the internet. You also have access to a computer, tablet or smartphone and you are familiar with digital communication tools such as WhatsApp, Teams, Facetime and / or Whereby. But, you also have to be patient and be a good listener. And, of course most importantly; you enjoy teaching someone the Dutch language!
You have about half an hour of contact with the participant every week, for a period of half a year. Day and time is in consultation with the participant.
We help you!
Of course we don't just throw you in the deep end. Volunteer Point ensures that you can get started well prepared by providing (digital) training. And of course you can always contact us if you need help or advice.
Have you become enthusiastic? Then respond to this great vacancy! See you (picture) bels!
